     Ingredients:


     12 oz. (1 pkg) fresh or frozen whole unsweetened cranberries
     1 cup sugar
     1 tsp grated orange peel
     1/2 cup orange juice
     Optional: 1 cinnamon stick



     Directions:


     1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

     2. Sort cranberries, discarding any bruised or decayed fruit.

     3. Rinse and drain berries.

     4. Grate the peel from the orange using a fine grater.

     5. Prepare fresh squeezed orange juice and measure out 1/2 cup.

     6. In an 8 or 9 inch square baking dish, mix cranberries, sugar, orange juice and orange peel.

     7. Bake, uncovered, in a 350° regular or convection oven, stirring occasionally, until berries are tender when
        pierced and juices are syrupy, about 1 hour.

     8. Serve warm or cool.
