Indian Chapattis
Source: Fun with Natural Foods

2 Tbsp. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 - 3/4 cups cold water

DIRECTIONS:


Mix thoroughly the flour, salt, and oil. Add enough water to make a soft
bread-like dough. Knead well and let rest an hour. Divide into 8 balls and
roll out thin. It will be about 8" in diameter. Bake on a hot griddle or
skillet for a few minutes on each side. May be spread with vegan margarine and
filled with rice, beans or any desired filling and rolled up, or eaten as is.
Use as a flour tortilla with mashed beans as burritos.
