Did not like the texture nor taste.

The product is superb, but it is so hard to open. It is definitely not for older people who don't have the strength to pull the cap off.

Major advantage: non-GMO soybeans (so not likely to contain as much leftover herbicide). This product is a nice alternative to SPAM. The flavor is tasty but not overly spiced – an advantage for those who want to add their own flavors. I had difficulty opening the can lid, but I was able to slip the contents out fairly easily once it was opened. I tasted it out of the can, and it was OK, but I recommend frying it or using it in hot dishes. Cooking it makes the texture meaty and satisfying. Fried slices make a very good sandwich, and they'd also be good with scrambled eggs. This product is now one of my favorite meat substitutes.
